8:30 am-9:30 am – Well Registrations - Use of Online Registration - David Miesbach, DWEE – Dave will discuss how to register wells and look up information on the NDNR Website.
9:30 am- 10:00 am- Business and Personal Tax Issues - Brian Klintworth, CPA, HBE LLC - Accountant will discuss current business and personal tax regulations the driller will deal with this year and in coming years.
10:00 am- 10:15 am- Break
10:15-11:00 am Insurance- Property, Casualty, Liability- Matt Greenway, FNIC Group – Matt will discuss insurance that all contractors should have to protect their business and personal life.
11:00 am-12:00 pm- Well Cameras- Tom Christopherson, Groundwater Solutions Group- Tom will discuss cameras used for water well drilling and inspections.
12:00-1:00 pm Lunch on your own
1:00 pm- 2:00 pm – Legislature History and Function - Laurie Ponce, Orton Management – Laurie will discuss the history of the Legislature, how it creates laws that impact the water well industry, and what contractors can do to help protect the industry.
2:00 pm-2:15 pm- Break
2:15 pm-3:15 pm – Update on Grout Seal Augmentation- Tom Christopherson – Tom will be giving an update on the process of grout seal augmentation. If time allows, we will also cover the Well Drillers Association Website and how to use it to find information.
3:15 pm-4:15 pm- Discussion of upcoming projects- David Miesbach, DWEE – This session will be like the annual Q&A session at the Water Industries convention. Dave will discuss what is going on in DWEE as it relates to Water Wells and groundwater. He will also answer questions people may have.
