Lee Orton, Executive Director
Lee Orton is the Executive Director of the Nebraska Well Drillers Association. Lee’s career has spanned more than 40 years in the practice of environmental law, administrative law, association management, and legislative matters. He holds both undergraduate and law degrees from UNL.
Jason Orton, Executive Assistant
Jason is responsible for event coordination, including tours, technical support, and continuing education activities. He holds a degree in business from Doane University.

Kianie David, Administrative Coordinator (She/Her/Hers)
A Returned Peace Corps Ghana volunteer, Kianie is a creative and jack-of-all-trades providing administrative and project management support. Starting in the fall of 2021, she will be attending the University of Lincoln-Nebraska as a transfer student majoring in environmental studies. Kianie hopes to one day lead her own environmental sustainability projects
Scott Snell, Project and Programs Coordinator
Scott originally joined the Nebraska Well Drillers Association as a consultant in 2019 and assumed the Projects & Programs Coordinator position in 2020. He is a board member of the Nebraska State Irrigation Association and spent 17 years with the Upper Big Blue Natural Resources Districts as the Public Relations Manager. Scott has over 30 years of experience in public relations and philanthropic development. He most recently finished a four-year term on the Hastings City Council and is also a graduate of the Nebraska Water Leaders Academy. Scott has a BA degree from Hastings College and a Masters Degree from Kent State University.
